Fave Foodie Stops in LA

My ideal travel adventures involve a lot of food. Actually, who am I kidding? They revolve around food. Eating, cooking, talking about food, taking pictures of food... you name it, if it involves food, I heart it. One of my favorite parts of researching our Los Angeles trip was checking out food blogs and top ten lists of city restos and bars. We picked a couple from the lists and made sure to pick a couple from exploring. Overall, we ate at too many great places to mention so here are my Top 4 LA Spots.read more[...]

Kels in Maui {Old Lahaina Luau}

A luau is like an immersion course in Hawaiian history, taking you back through decades of music, dance, culture and food.  This was the first thing we knew we had to do when planning our trip, but the options are really overwhelming.  Most of the larger resorts offer them on site and a few that run as a separate business.  The price ranges from $80 USD - $150 USD per person, so it’s best to do your research if you are on a budget.  We chose the Old Lahaina Luau based on recommendations from friends as well as our diligent research through Trip Advisor.re[...]

Go Golfing in Rose Hall, Jamaica. Trust me, It’s Awesome.

In October 2015, I surprised my husband-to-be with a  4-day mini-moon to Rose Hall, Jamaica.  Two days after our wedding, we flew to Montego Bay and made the short journey to Rose Hall for a few days of sunshine, Red Stripe, and Golf.   We were lucky to have beautiful morning weather (it rained every day, on cue, from 1-3pm… t’was the season) which allowed us to get our golf on. To say my hubby is an avid golfer would be an understatement.  Not only does he love golfing, but he’s also quite good. I know there is professional lingo for that - he's an[...]
